These terms cover your use of Deaf Culture App. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

Deaf Culture App, operated by SignSpaces LLC, provides educational lessons on Deaf culture, history, and identity. We may update or improve the lessons over time.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Free and paid plans

  • A free plan includes 25 lessons with no credit card required.
  • Premium unlocks all 250 lessons at $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and stops the next charge.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute our lessons, attempt to break or reverse-engineer the app, or use it in any unlawful way. Our content is created by Deaf creators and protected by copyright.

5. Content & accuracy

We work hard to present Deaf culture and history accurately and respectfully. Lessons are educational and provided "as is" without guarantees of completeness for any specific purpose.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of your current paid period. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy and must be requested through Apple. Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's refund policy and must be requested through Google. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
